Introduction

The Prevention Program for community members involves using various facilities and practices essential to meeting a person’s mental health needs. In the case of Nadia, there is a severe need to employ multiple resources of the community to prevent challenges and unmet needs from emerging.

Discussion

In this regard, preventing problems related to mental health involves consolidating the efforts of community psychology resources and a range of community institutions. Primarily, the Prevention Program includes the involvement of Community Mental Health Centers and various public organizations. In community organizations, immigrant communities enable individuals to meet their cultural needs (Salami et al., 2019). In addition, an important aspect is an opportunity to attend religious institutions, more precisely, mosques in the case of Nadia. Collaboration of clinicians and the participants of organizations that are representatives of the ethnic group allows the creation of the necessary collective influence to prevent the problems associated with relocation (Hodgetts, 2020). Therefore, the fundamentals of the Prevention Program for Nadia include a combination of community psychology practitioners and several organizations to address mental health needs.

An essential aspect in the case of Nadia is the critical influence of family and environment on mental health needs. In this respect, the impact of the various systems on the individual’s mental health determines the need for a community organization that includes the use of the Prevention Program in multiple aspects (Moritsugu, 2019). Considering that Nadia’s husband has employment issues, it is necessary to integrate career counselors to improve well-being within the family. Furthermore, the fact that Nadia has two children determines the necessity for school involvement to provide for mental health in case of problems related to interaction with children. Thus, the Prevention Program includes addressing the aspects essential to meeting the mental needs of Nadia’s family members.

Moreover, the Prevention Program should involve rehabilitation services and various mental health treatment facilities, including residency programs. These establishments will prevent the occurrence of significant mental health problems and limit the negative influence of the environment on Nadia. In addition, local media represent an important resource for securing community well-being. Distributing information relevant to mental well-being via, for example, displaying materials promoting social well-being and equality is crucial in preventing community members from developing problems (Hodgetts, 2020). Overall, in the case of Nadia, the Prevention Program includes the involvement of several organizations and resources necessary to ensure a proper residential setting and prevent severe mental health issues.

From a biblical perspective, Nadia’s case is an example of a situation where a person needs society’s comprehensive support. Deuteronomy 15:11 reads, “There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land” (Deuteronomy 15:11 NIV). This verse indicates that there will always be those in the community who require support and acceptance. These words instruct people to be ready to support new community members until they experience difficulties, as they emphasize the need to help others without additional conditions. In Nadia’s context, these words refer to the significance of community support for immigrants to avoid mental health issues.

Conclusion

Furthermore, full inclusion in the community’s life, in this case, is essential to meet Nadia’s mental health needs. In general, the Bible prescribes the necessity for support for all people in need before they experience significant problems.
